We all value the importance of nurturing ourselves, spending time on our own growth and development in order that we can facilitate the same with others. We operate the Centre in a way that allows us to engage with women and also keep time to spend on ourselves, nurturing and growing our Associates. This creates an opportunity to create a deeper conscious connection with ourselves and each other that is about women and not our labels.
Our approach provides an opportunity for us to build our own community of Heart Centred Leaders, Leaders who recognise leadership is about helping others to succeed, who are kind and understand the power of their own and collective stories. We create an inspiring space where women can be authentic, learn self management skills, understand and develop resilience, build meaningful relationships, and where she can gain strength and encouragement to regain control of her life. At the heart of this is the implicit goal for the woman to set her own course, to become independent and self reliant, taking back full control of her own life and regaining her place in the community and society. Women have to see that their engagement enables them to be more effective. One way we achieve this is through the sharing of personal stories and the co created stories of Associates. This informs and shapes the organisation in a collaborative way. This allows women to see that their ideas can shape what is being delivered; that their wisdom and voice matters. Our Associate model creates a space that enables women who may have previously been prevented from engagement to become Change Makers, Social leaders who discover their passion and purpose. They develop community projects, become Champions working towards making system changes that are inclusive and non- hierarchical, regaining their voice.
